I've been stuck on level 5 for the longest time, can you please help or tell me what to do?
Hyper Time Disruptor
A downloadable game for Windows and Linux
Enter the worm hole of time-space frequency and try to catch up with yourself. Fly in sync with your own trail to accelerate yourself to the speed of light and travel back in time by hitting your past self.
After the Black Hadron Collider experiment failed miserably and turned the whole world into dangerous mutants, Doctor Professor Mobius is the only one unaffected by the time disruptions the BHC caused. The only way to fix this is to take the B.I.R.D. into the BHC and travel back in time to stop himself from conducting the experiment in the first place.
WARNING: This game may potentially trigger seizures for people with photosensitive epilepsy. Viewer discretion is advised.
- Move your mouse to steer the plane.
- Dodge the obstacles.
- Follow your own trail to speed up.
- Catch up with yourself by flying into your ghost to win the level.
New update 1.4 Alpha
We updated the game with some tweaks and small features. If you already have the game, download the game again for the following changes:
- More colors! All levels now have their own colors.
- Tweaked difficulty. Levels 2, 3 and 4 are a bit easier now.
- Ghost trail. Your past self (or as we call it, your ghost) now leaves a trail behind so you know if you are close.
- Your ghost is a bit easier to hit

This is the raddest, most laser filled game I've played in a while. The music is awesome, the controls are solid, and the cheesy 80s plot is just great. Good job on this!
Thank you for the video :DI noticed you mentioned something about downloading the intro music. It is not available for download, but this youtube video (by the creators of the music: Menger&Meester) has the music tracks, the first minute or so is the intro song. It contains the music without the game's SFX.
very nice game but could you bind the cursor to the game? - it's very hard to play with dual-monitors!
Thank you for your comment. You make a very good point and I will add it to our list of wanted features.
Really cool game!
just love this game!!!!!!!
BEST MUSIC FOR A GAME EVER!!! HOPE YOU LIKE THE LET'S PLAY!
really fun game and I like the color scheme a lot! Controls are solid and the idea behind this is really neat. Apologies for the weird pauses once in a while in the video, i clicked outside the window, since I played it in windowed mode, and the game paused lol
Fun game, a bit too harsh at times.
Really fun game, although I would like to see an option to change the camera offset, because right now it feels a bit too close for me. Nevertheless, I really enjoyed it.
PS: Thanks for making me feel like I did drugs.
Thanks. I fear it will be even more difficult to see depth when the camera is moved back further.
Glad we could give you the experience of doing drugs without the harmful effects :p Don't do drugs, kids!
Nice game, really cool mechanics.
Level 7 is where it gets real fucked up...
Sometimes I think the levels take too long and it's frustrating to get to be like 10 meters away from the ghost ship and lose. Then u have to play for like 5 mins again.
NICE GAME REGARDLESS, ADD MORE MUSIC !
Thanks for the feedback! It shouldn't take you 5 minutes to get up to speed, though... are you sure you're driving close enough to your trail?
This game is AWESOME
btw thanks my brain is Fucked up xD
I love this!!!
Awesome game. Love it. Love that music. On level 3 i first die.
Would be great if I could get it to not load fullscreen. Framerate is not great on intel 915 on a Linux laptop at 1440p, and I figure a smaller window would work better.
Let me try to find a solution for you. I will get back to you.
First off, you can try to hold the alt-key when starting the game. A resolution dialog should pop up.
Otherwise hat you could try (while we try to get the grip on a more definite solution) is try to use the following command line arguments:
-screen-fullscreen Override the default full-screen state. This must be 0 or 1.
-screen-height Override the default screen height. This must be an integer from a supported resolution (e.g. 720).
-screen-width Override the default screen width. This must be an integer from a supported resolution (e.g. 1280).
So run it with -screen-fullscreen 0 -screen-height 720 -screen-width 1280
If you are not familiar with command line options, let me know.
Absolutely fantastic fun. I had acid flashbacks! XD
Had a blast playing this, never thought I would haha was nice from the music to the slight rage and all, I dont know if you can progress to stage 3, or I could be an idiot and not be doing right but yeah was great here's my gameplay
Thanks for the review Syphon, had a blast watching it!
Yeah you can beat it, just follow your trail as good as possible to speed up (even faster)!
